Hannah and Magnus are two siblings trying to find their way into surviving a narcissistic father and a negligent mother. In the search for their own selves, they come up with tools to deal with the pain through absurdity and extreme psychological tactics. A family of four share a tough roof to be under. To navigate a chaotic coexistence and intense interactions, they go on painful and humorous journeys to seek escape from the family structure. The play looks at dysfunctional families by exploring and investigating how physical, psychological and emotional boundaries guide behaviour and mould relationships, while dealing with the imminent feeling of loneliness of everyone involved. The staging of My Kids Suck will be featuring students and alumni from LAMDA in the cast and creative team. Running time: 60 minutes (no interval) Age guidance: 16+
