The memory of Delia’s brother won’t go, he’s there day after day, invisible to everyone else, but there to see all the memories he is missing because a fascist dictator ship took over his home country. The Canary Islands, Spain (1936 to 2014). A family drama, shaken by war and exile. Delia tries to keep the balance of a family split by politics, by not talking about it. However, what is happening outside her home seeped into it affecting all the relationships. The memory of Delia’s brother, a companion that only she can see, is a constant reminder of the price of peace and silence. The absence of this uncle trickled down through the family, even if they weren’t aware of it. Esther Fernández Guerra is a theatre director and writer from the Canary Islands. She started her artistic career as a dancer and has over 16 years of training as a ballet dancer. After that, Esther studied acting in the Escuela de Actores de Canarias (2009/13), where she learned a very physical approach to theatre and character construction.
