In this one day-intensive Theatre503's Artistic Director and Co-CEO will take you through his process when working with new Writing. Using Donbas, the first show he directed and dramaturged as part of his inaugural season as Theatre503's Artistic director, you will learn how to analyse text and use your dramaturgical skills, work collaboratively with writers and actors, come up with a concept, how to solve creative roadblocks collaboratively, and practically work through sections of text to sharpen your skills. The day will culminate with a Q&A on the job of an Artistic Director and the journey to becoming one.
Saturday 3 October 2026, 10am – 6pm at The 503Studio in Nine Elms (including a one hour break for lunch).
This masterclass will take place in-person at Theatre503's Studio.
