Theatre503's interactive online course exploring the tools and techniques to help you generate ideas, explore time and form, create characters and write dialogue.
This course consists of five weekly sessions. Through a series of writing exercises and group discussions, you will generate ideas for dramatic stories; create active complex characters; explore space, place and time in your work; write dialogue; structure scripts; and find the right theatrical form for your play. There will be opportunities to share your developing work and receive informal peer and tutor feedback. You will also receive tips on starting and sustaining a career as a freelance scriptwriter.
